The street front court yard for this Midtown residential tower became the public face for an extensive renovation of the building's lobby, lounge and other common areas. JKLA worked closely with METHOD Architects to create a seamless entry experience, collaborating on the redesign of the cascading wall fountain and exterior lighting. JKLA carefully selected different colors and textures of natural gravel mixes and shade tolerant plantings, and located each natural boulder on site. Protection of the existing mature shade tree on site helped to give the renovated court yard an immediate sense of rooted permanence.
